Magnetic card holder sizes, 25pt to 360pt

Magnetic holders are sold by point rating like top loaders, but the sleeve rules differ by brand.

The short answer

Measure the card and pick the smallest rating at or above it. Both Ultra PRO (ONE-TOUCH) and Vault X sell magnetic holders by point rating for standard 2.5” × 3.5” cards.

Ultra PRO also lists 23pt, 200pt and 260pt ONE-TOUCH holders that we have not yet added. Vault X publishes an internal size of 64 × 89 mm for its holders. Ultra PRO does not publish an internal size on its ONE-TOUCH pages.

Sleeves: the rule that trips people up

Vault X: “Designed for unsleeved cards.” The Finder treats a sleeved card in a Vault X holder as won’t fit.

Ultra PRO: the ONE-TOUCH pages describe card size and thickness only. Without a statement either way, we flag it instead of guessing.

UV claims

Ultra PRO says its holders use “UV-blocking additives”; Vault X says “integrated UV barrier”. Neither publishes a percentage on these pages, and we haven’t tested them. Keep displayed cards out of direct sunlight either way.

Display

Ultra PRO’s ONE-TOUCH Wall Display “fits ONE-TOUCH holders up to 35pt”. Stands are sold by holder size. See graded card storage and display for slabs.

Check your card in the Fit Finder, or compare every size in the magnetic holder table.

Questions collectors ask

Can I put a sleeved card in a magnetic holder?

Vault X says its magnetic holders are designed for unsleeved cards. Ultra PRO's ONE-TOUCH pages don't say either way, so the Fit Finder flags sleeved cards for a check rather than calling them a fit.

Do the stands work with any magnetic holder?

Ultra PRO sells ONE-TOUCH stands by holder size (35pt and 55pt, 130pt, 180pt). We list the 130pt stand. Other brands' holders are not named, so we treat them as unverified.
